The health and safety of all pets staying at MacKye Kennels, including our own, is of the utmost importance. We kindly ask that you follow the necessary guidelines to have your pet kennel ready for boarding at our facility. The following protocol/rules are put in place by MacKye Kennels:
All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations
Clients with new pets must provide 1 prior vaccination set, as well as the current booster
Puppies and kittens must be old enough to have been vaccinated at least 2 times; 3 sets may be required if your puppy or kitten has started its vaccination program very young
There is a 7 day waiting period after any adult vaccinations and a 14 day waiting period after the last puppy or kitten vaccination has been given. There is a 7 day waiting period after any visit to a vet clinic, regardless of the nature of an appointment.
All necessary paperwork must be provided each time your pet is boarding at our kennel. As a courtesy, we will do our best to verify vaccinations with your vet clinic, if you are unable to provide your pet’s vaccination records. It is always a good idea to check your records or call your vet clinic in advance of kenneling to find-out the status of your pet’s vaccinations. Call us if you have any questions about our policy.
